The space between what happens and what you do
Sometimes life doesn’t feel like a “learning journey,” but like a fire we’re trying to put out with a bucket of water. We all know what it is to react from fear, hurt, or exhaustion—and to end up somewhere we didn’t want to be.
This course is an invitation to pause and learn to change our inertia in difficult situations. Because only when we stop reacting on autopilot can we choose to move with a bit more effectiveness—key to having more inner peace and wellbeing in everyday life.
What is it really about?
- Instead of giving you magic recipes, we’ll work on building the capacity to pause. Not to deny what you feel, but to understand who inside you is reacting.
- We want to move from automatic reaction to conscious response.
- We want you to learn to transform your reactions through self‑compassion, supported by the strength and holding of the group in the most complicated situations.
What we’ll build in 12 weeks
- Looking inward: Build the habit of slowing down and observing what happens inside you in difficult situations. This is an essential step to recognize your emotions without being ruled by them.
- A group refuge: You won’t be alone. We’ll help your group gradually become a small community of compassion‑based support—a safe space to accept and be accepted while we accompany each person in what they choose to share.
- A tool for real life: Understand where your real capacity for action is in the middle of your emotional fires—so that calm and optimism aren’t only something you feel on vacation, but resources you can recover in the middle of an argument or a bad day.
Roadmap
We’ll accompany each other for 12 weeks, meeting once a week in 2.5‑hour sessions to go deeper together.
- Weeks 1 to 5 – Building the foundation : Understand how your emotional system works, why you react the way you do, and what you can do about it.
- Weeks 6 to 11 – The experiential lab : Apply what you learn to your relationships, your work, and those “difficult” moments that overwhelm you today—turning them into real practice spaces.
- Week 12 – Integration and closing : Celebrate the path, deliver certificates, and invite you to continue with your community and daily practice.
Price: €150 Launch special. This course has a double purpose: your growth and funding the same training for communities in Uganda for 4 months. Your personal process helps sustain others.
